Roles and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students’ educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the smooth transition of new pupils into the school community.

Providing personalised 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.

Facilitating engaging and interactive learning experiences for small groups of pupils.

We are working with several PRU’s and AP’s in Sefton who are recruiting TA’s to work full time from January. The provisions aim to provide students with a calm, pastoral and nurturing learning environment. They are provided with high standards of education and will be provided with the skills to succeed and hopefully intergated back into mainstream.
The ideal candidates will have experience of supporting students with a personailised curriculum and wll be able to build relationships and help students overcome any obstacles and barriers to learning. You will also support emotional barriers and manage behaviour.
The roles we have are temp to perm contracts.
