The Company: Our client is a not for-profit training provider, with an excellent reputation. They work with apprentices from all over the UK working with many high profile clients. They have gained ISO, Matrix and IIP accreditations. They have 60 staff.
The Job: On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Marketing and Events Officer, based in their site in Bristol. You will have already gained experience in a marketing role and have a passion for driving brand awareness and engagement. This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with their business goals, utilising various digital platforms to enhance their online presence.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to attract prospective employers and learners.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and website content.
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring it is optimised for SEO.
- Create engaging copy for promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand messaging.
- Analyse campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Utilise Canva for designing visual content that complements marketing initiatives.
- Maintain an organised schedule to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Plan, coordinate, and host open days, taster sessions, and learner engagement events.
- Represent the business at career fairs, school visits, and industry expos, delivering presentations to inspire future apprentices.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to promote events and maximise attendance.
- Act as the voice of apprentices, gathering feedback to ensure their experiences inform organisational improvements.
- Promote skills challenges, competitions, and enrichment activities to enhance apprentices' development and engagement.
- Support initiatives that celebrate diversity and inclusion, ensuring every apprentice feels valued and empowered.
The Person: For this role our client is seeking someone who has:
- Proven experience in a marketing role with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Proficiency in Canva, Joomla and Excel is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content tailored to target audiences.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices to enhance online visibility.
- Strong time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar analytics tools is advantageous.
Salary: £24-28,000
Benefits: Company pension, 20 days holiday + bank holiday + 2 weeks close down at Christmas, Employee Assistance Programme, End of year profit share bonus.
The Hours: 37 per hour working Monday - Friday.
The Location: Bristol, South, with Car Parking.
