Registered Mental Health Nurse
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Salary: A£32,760 – A£42,073 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week

As an RMN, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing high-quality care to male service users with complex mental health needs. Our hospital is known for its commitment to helping patients manage their own risks and move toward a controlled discharge with the appropriate support.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care to a defined group of patients

Collaborate with patients and their families to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans

Monitor, review, and evaluate patient progress, adapting care plans as needed

Act as the patients’ named nurse, ensuring their needs and preferences are met

Contribute to the multi-disciplinary approach to patient care

Ensure a safe and supportive environment, taking responsibility for patient care, including shift coordination

Maintain professional development in line with preceptorship and revalidation requirements

Provide clinical supervision, support, and mentoring to newly qualified staff
-
Adhere to relevant safeguarding policies, Mental Health Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Standards
