At Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals UK & Ireland, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team and conduct laboratory testing to ensure the quality and effectiveness of our concrete-based products, produced at our Daventry and Coventry facilities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Industry experience, ideally in a laboratory or quality control environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to understand and adhere to standards and specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and organised approach to work.
  • (Desirable) Concrete Technology or relevant qualifications.

What you will be doing:

  • Conducting quality control checks on raw materials and production samples.
  • Organising QC paperwork and analysis records to maintain compliance.
  • Running cement and concrete testing trials for product development and compliance.
  • Assisting with CE marking processes and preparing samples for external testing.
  • Producing development formulations for laboratory analysis and performance assessment.
  • Organising and maintaining calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Supporting the technical team with cube and prism testing.
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
