Forklift Drivers, have you ever considered utilising your skills within the Air Cargo industry at Heathrow Airport? We are recruiting for a leading cargo specialist company based near Hatton Cross station at London Heathrow Airport (TW6) that requires FLT Drivers to perform a mixture of warehouse (60%) and FLT (40%) duties.
If you have a valid Counterbalance Forklift license and a minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience, we would like to hear from you! We have an urgent requirement to fill a Thursday to Sunday shift pattern. We can offer fixed early and late shift patterns.
As a Forklift Driver, you will receive:
- £16.12 p/h including shift allowance.
- Overtime rate: £22.17 p/h - £29.56 p/h (after completion of rostered hours).
- Free parking.
- Fixed shift pattern of Thursday to Sunday.
To be successful in this FLT Driver position:
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence is required.
- Minimum 3 months of experience using a counterbalance forklift within the past year.
- Ability to load and unload parcels between 15kg to 25kg.
- Be prepared to work in a manual warehouse environment.
- Provide a 5-year checkable history.
FLT Driver duties will include:
- Using a forklift to load and unload air freight cargo pallets to and from vehicles.
- Build and break down aircraft pallets and store them in warehouse racks.
- Build cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications.
- Scanning cargo and completion of airfreight documentation.
- Performing other warehouse duties when required.
As an FLT Driver, you will work an 8-hour shift pattern on either a late or an early shift rota, you decide!
- Late shifts: 22:00 hrs – 06:00 hrs
- Early shifts: 06:00 hrs - 14:00 hrs
Applicants with FLT Counterbalance, Forklift, Warehouse with FLT, Cargo Operative or Cargo Agent experience will be considered highly suitable.
