Commercial Fraud Investigator – ANYWHERE IN UK – REMOTE Key Information: Salary: up to £36,000 Work Type: Fully r emote Responsibilities: Investigate potentially fraudulent commercial property claims. Promote the Commercial Investigations Team among colleagues and clients. Conduct and plan recorded telephone and video interviews. Manage your own caseload, gather evidence, and maintain contact with policyholders. Validate claims through third-party enquiries and liaise with the police and external agencies as needed. Stay updated on current legislation and insurance practices. Handle settlement enquiries, challenge fraudulent activities, and prepare detailed reports for insurers. Issue repudiation and fraud outcome letters. Meet SLA requirements and provide excellent customer service. Accurately record all chargeable and non-chargeable time. Handle complaints within FCA guidelines. Identify, manage, and report fraudulent activities using data and technology. Achieve objectives and operational targets as agreed with your line manager. Competencies: Thorough knowledge of insurance principles and their application to commercial and property claims, including business interruption. Understanding of current case law, statutes, and legal liabilities. Knowledge of building construction relevant to the role. Ability to secure, preserve, and record evidence.
