Interview process: Two Stage Interview Process
Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to be flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.
The recipe! This role is designed to develop and uphold fundamental demand forecasting models tailored for our products and customers. You will leverage data from both internal and external sources while collaborating with stakeholders to achieve consensus. Your efforts will focus on ensuring forecast consistency and enhancing forecast accuracy, thereby supporting the Integrated Business Planning Process and providing volume input for Production, Inventory Planning, and Finance.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a rolling 18-month period, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and demand planning processes.
- Lead Monthly Account Review meetings to identify risks and opportunities.
- Analyse historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data using statistical models.
- Coordinate research to refine forecasts based on updated sales and marketing assumptions.
- Provide input for inventory strategies on existing items and new products to maximise profit and customer service.
- Coordinate customer action plans with Supply Planning and oversee the Demand Management process as needed.
- Prepare and maintain reports for the demand planning process and forecast tables.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to forecasts.
- Work with Account Managers to forecast events like promotions and range changes.
Requirements

- Relevant experience as a Demand Planner.
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in numeracy, statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods.
- Understands commercial and customer environments and factors influencing sales and profit.
- Effective data presentation skills.

- Great communication, influencing, and teamworking skills.
