This is a varied role combining account management with proactive sales development, ideal for a self-starter who thrives on achieving results. You will manage incoming orders and actively prospect for new opportunities within the sports market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management: Process and manage incoming orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and delivering a seamless customer experience.
- Sales Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with bespoke product. Build and develop strong relationships with potential clients to generate new sales. Secure business in new areas, sectors & industries.
- Account Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and high levels of customer satisfaction. Act as the primary contact for accounts, providing bespoke solutions tailored to clients' needs.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of OddBalls’ product range, including stock and custom-made items. Confidently present and sell our underwear, socks, bobble hats, and accessories to clients. Use real time data to present the best offering to customers and guidance on how to get the most out of their OddBalls range.
- Sales Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution. Report on sales performance and provide insights to help shape future sales strategies. Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly with detailed insight into sales pipeline and funnel construction.
The successful candidates’ Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business development, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably within the sports or apparel industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical skills for performance metrics and market research.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to sales and problem-solving.
- The ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
- An understanding of the sports market is highly desirable.
- Experience with bespoke and stock product sales is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits:
- A competitive base salary with an attractive commission structure based on performance.
- Salary £30,000 per annum with an additional OTE of £9,500+ based on achieving sales targets.

Place of Work: This role is based at our office on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Shields. Hybrid 1 day per week from home.
Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. 8.30 a.m. – 2.00 p.m. Fridays.
