My client is looking for a VP of Engineering to head up their multi-disciplinary engineering team, who are developing products to combat climate change. Having achieved product-market fit with their innovative product, they are now preparing for market expansion.
The Role
- Leading and aligning their hardware and software engineering teams
- Implementing and maintaining development processes across multiple disciplines
- Managing product development from innovation through to manufacture
- Working closely with the CTO to turn concepts into deliverable products
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and suppliers
About You
- Proven experience leading combined hardware and software teams
- Track record of taking products from concept through to market
- Strong background in either hardware or embedded software, with a good understanding of both
- Experience implementing processes in high-growth environments
- Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
Required Experience
- 8+ years in engineering leadership roles with extensive experience with electronic engineering or embedded software development, ideally working on consumer electronic devices.
- Experience in various companies (including early stage start-ups) and familiar with various development methodologies and processes
- Experience with full product development life-cycle
