We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of the area's top care providers! Due to internal growth, they are looking to recruit a Deputy Care Manager to join their thriving care organisation.

For this role, it is ESSENTIAL that you have experience working in domiciliary and/or live-in care. This will be a varied role and due to the nature of the position, we can only consider candidates that drive and have their own vehicle.

Duties will consist of:

  • Overall management of service users and oversee their care packages ensuring the very highest quality of care is being provided
  • Meet new care clients and their families, devise a care plan and complete all the necessary risk assessments and paperwork
  • Supervise and directly manage care workers, ensuring they are performing to the best of their ability, highlighting any training gaps and completing spot checks and care audits
  • Guide care workers through training and care qualifications they may be studying for
  • Completing care worker introductions and ensure service users are happy
  • Maintain accurate office records and updating when necessary
  • Carry out other related duties as required

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 in health & social care
  • Extensive experience writing and developing care plans
  • Strong experience managing and leading a team of care workers
  • Highly knowledgeable on care compliance and all CQC requirements
  • Must be a driver with your own transport
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong communicator and the ability to lead by example
  • Highly organised with effective time management skills

This is a permanent full-time role and the salary will be negotiable on experience, circa £30,000 - £40,000. If you have the skills and experience, please apply for this role immediately as we are expecting a large response!
