Your local department store has been part of the Brixton community since 1880. Its recent reinvention has made it a destination of choice. We have an opportunity for a full time Loss Prevention Officer to join our team, reporting direct to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who will assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff. Being a visual deterrent means that you are also an ambassador for the store and will be interactive with both customers and staff providing friendly customer service where necessary.

This is a varied role and duties will include:

  • Patrolling the store and staff areas
  • Monitoring the CCTV
  • Conducting staff searches and till checks
  • Liaising with the store team to ensure compliance with Loss Prevention and Health and Safety
  • Dealing with customer enquiries whilst you are on the Sales Floor

What you need:

  • A calm and confident manner and approach to difficult situations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be willing to be trained as a First Aider
