Rapier Employment are on the lookout for Drivers Mates to join our well-established client based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This is a potential temp to perm for the right candidates.

You MUST hold a Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.

This role will also require you to be away Monday-Friday.

  • Role: Drivers mate/Crew member
  • Salary: £13.00 per hour. Overtime paid x1.5
  • Days: Monday-Friday with occasional weekends when required
  • Expected hours: 45 hours per week
  • Night out allowance: £15 per night

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Work with drivers and plant operatives on installation and recovery throughout the UK
  • Work as a two/three person crew which includes nights away in accommodation
  • Have a Full UK licence. You will be following the main truck in a vehicle provided by site
  • Follow exact directions and be able to assist with installing/removing products
  • Making sure products are ready for transport
  • Work a flexible schedule (days, nights, potential weekends)
  • Full training will be provided, with development opportunities, and ability to progress within the company

Required:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • No more than 3 points on licence
  • Flexible working

Desired/Preferred:

  • CSCS card desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
