We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us at our Accrington, Desford, Hams Hall, Measham, Newbury & Whittlesey sites in the position of Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity with yearly salary increases, to work towards becoming a fully skilled engineer at one of the UK’s leading building material manufacturers.

Closing date - 4th April 2025

Apprenticeship summary:

  • Working week - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Annual Salary - £20,800 per annum
  • Expected duration - 48 months
  • Start date - 1st September 2025
  • Apprenticeship level - Advanced Level Apprenticeship

The Role includes but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring the efficient and safe working of the plant by utilising the skills taught during your training
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance daily and installation of new equipment as required
  • Responding to and acting upon the fault report system

  • Salary will be reviewed throughout apprenticeship
  • Shift work may be required on completion of the apprenticeship
  • The first year of the apprenticeship includes residential training in Birmingham.
