We have an urgent 6 week Temporary assignment for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to work in Despatch. The role involves forklift truck driving and also carrying out physical lifting and loading.
Key Features of role:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a warehouse
- Manual Handling, picking and packaging orders
- Getting boxed items ready for Despatch - may involve packaging items and palletising and labelling of goods
- Helping load items on to lorries and organising couriers to collect items ready for despatch
Requirements:
- You MUST hold a valid licence for a Counterbalance FLT
- YOU MUST be physically fit and able to lift and move items
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English and read and write
- Someone with a Full UK Drivers Licence and experience of driving a van would be a distinct advantage - but this is not essential
