Associate Director sought on behalf of a leading strategic advisory consultancy based in London. The firm is looking for an individual who is a self-motivated and hard-working team player with some experience in the business intelligence/corporate intelligence industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of enhanced due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across the Middle East and North Africa, with a focus on the Gulf, Iran, Egypt, and North Africa.
- Public domain research and conduct of human source enquiries to support strategic intelligence projects.
- Draft client-ready reports as well as supporting visuals.
- Briefing of clients and other external and internal stakeholders on existing project work.
- Briefing of clients on specific countries or sectors of specialisation in MENA.
- Development of human source network for the firm’s MENA team.
- Draft client-ready project proposals and assist with wider business development activities.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional French and Farsi language skills are an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for report drafting and client briefings.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the business intelligence industry.
- Experience in researching complex matters with knowledge of relevant databases and other sources of information in the public domain.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet client deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills essential for client briefings and liaison with other internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in at least one of the MENA countries (Gulf/North Africa countries are an advantage) paired with an understanding of commercial and regulatory risks faced by investors in the region would be an advantage.
