We are seeking a Senior Reinsurance Technician to join a dynamic team. As a Senior Reinsurance Technician, you will work closely with the reinsurance team to handle and process reinsurance accounts. London based role. Hybrid working - 2 days in the office and 3 working from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle and process reinsurance accounts for commercial lines of business
- Work closely with the reinsurance team and underwriters to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts
- Review and analyse reinsurance contracts and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of reports for management and clients
- Liaise with clients, brokers, and underwriters to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and process improvements within the reinsurance team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in account handling within the reinsurance industry
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using reinsurance software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
