Responsibilities
- Creating original and vintage inspired prints both in repeat and as placement artworks engineered to the garment.
- Creating unique and commercial colourways from our seasonal palettes.
- Preparing print packs for factories to clearly understand.
- Helping to identify key prints for the season and designing into the trends, with the support of your line manager.
- Researching relevant trends for print and colour in keeping with the brand and customer mind set.
- Building and maintaining great relationships with our Design and Buying teams.
- Providing consistent and quality admin support to your line manager.
- Working to your own initiative and be able to take responsibility when required.
- Continually aiming to develop yourself, asking your Line Manager for support and guidance.
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Intimate/ Clothing/ Textiles or related discipline.
- 5+ years technical design experience in lingerie industry.
- Good paper pattern knowledge and grading experiences.
- Able to deal with designers and fit technicians of customers independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, team player and be able to work under pressure in a fast pace working environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, hard-working and can meet timely deadlines.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Technician.
