As a Graduate BIM Consultant or a BIM Consultant you will join the team to help support delivery across a varied project base. Clearly defined scope activities will be delivered to ensure requirements are understood and actioned, and the benefits are realised through the adoption of BIM on a project from design phase through to project delivery.
Typical role activities may include:
- Cross-checking model information against Employer’s Information Requirements (EIRs) and/or Project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Supporting the development of strategic BIM documentation (BEPs, EIRs, AIRs etc.)
- Producing clash detection and data verification reports and the supportive communication of findings to design teams.
- Helping consultant design team members with technical queries.
- Supporting preparation for and attending design coordination meetings, recording the issues found and the resolutions agreed.
- Involvement in internal R&D activities.
- Delivering technical demonstrations and training to clients.
- Project modelling using Revit or Civil 3D.
