An excellent opportunity is available with our client in the insurance sector. We're here to connect them with an experienced Claims Handler to join their team. This full-time, permanent role offers office-based or hybrid working options. You will manage a variety of claims, negotiate settlements, and ensure the best outcomes for clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise clients and brokers on claims and settlements
  • Handle claims across Motor/Fleet, Property, and Liability lines within SLAs
  • Negotiate settlements with insurers, loss adjusters, and service providers
  • Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Maintain accurate claims records and ensure compliance with regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Cert CII or Dip CII (or working towards)
  • CILA qualification (desirable)

DAY-TO-DAY

  • You will manage claims from start to settlement
  • Support broker teams
  • Attend team meetings as required
  • Maintain accurate records in claims systems

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of insurance, risk assessment, and underwriting
  • Proficient in Acturis, Microsoft Office, and insurer platforms
  • Excellent communication and relationship management
  • Ability to mentor junior staff

EXPERIENCE

  • Claims handling experience across Motor/Fleet, Property, Liability, and related sectors
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and insurer relationships
