Join our Collaboration Specialists team. This is an exciting opportunity to start as a Collaboration Solutions Specialist. This business unit is one of the fastest growing BU's in Softcat in recent years and a key focus by the business moving forward. Softcat's Collaboration team help businesses accelerate their digital workspace journey with more flexible working styles and effective collaboration between employees, suppliers and customers. Softcat's Collaboration solutions are focused on empowering the user experience and enabling the business to become more efficient and productive.

In this role you will be responsible for the growth of Collaboration within the Softcat customer base. You will be selling to and supporting Softcat Account Managers and Customers with a wide range of Collaboration solutions. The current Collaboration portfolio is mainly focused on Cisco, Skype for Business, ShoreTel/Mitel and Polycom. The introduction of AV has extended the team's reach within Collaboration and they are now able to offer solutions for digital signage, wireless content sharing and general office room/auditorium fit-outs (video-conferencing solutions). We don’t expect a candidate to have knowledge/experience of all the portfolio, so training and support will be provided to upskill any gaps.

As Collaboration Solutions Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Understanding, selling and creating multivendor hardware and software solutions
  • Driving the penetration of Collaboration in Softcat Customers
  • Hitting personal sales targets
  • Education and advocacy of Collab solutions across the Softcat business
  • Increase market share through competitive engagements
  • Ability to manage an extended team of vendors, suppliers & Softcat employees
  • Continually improve the business
  • Appetite for knowledge increase as new technologies will be provided regularly

We’d love you to have:

  • Experience working in a busy environment handling multiple work streams
  • Experience selling Collaboration technologies (Unified communications) and/or Audio-Visual solutions
  • Preferable knowledge of one or more: Cisco, Skype for Business, Polycom, Shoretel/Mitel
  • Sales experience in solutions is essential
