Our prestigous client, as part of their expansion, are looking for a Power electronics HW engineer (Mid / Senior level) to join their team in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. Job Spec: Design LV electronics for HISPEED LV and HV traction inverters. This includes: design of isolated and non-isolated SMPS, design of analogue and digital circuits. Schematics capture, Library management in Altium. PCB design / specification / layout in Altium (desired), Support / guide PCB/ PCBA production processes Development of test plans and testing of power electronic boards ( integrity tests, functional tests ) Support HW functional safety analyses & inverter testing.Desired skills and experience: Minimum of 3 years (Mid-level) and 6 years (Senior-level) of relevant industrial experience with HW design experience. HW design experience to fulfil EMC regulations / standards as ECE REG 10, CISPR 25 is desired. Experience with WBG power converters – SIC, GAN. Experience with ISO26262 implementation at HW level. Knowledge of PCB design best practices for EMC, thermal management, and signal integrity.
