Senior Civil Engineer – Nottingham – Permanent – Hybrid Brand new office opening in Nottingham in January, the client is looking to attract a permanent Senior Engineer. This is a hybrid role. You will be the key hire in the Power Civils team as a Senior Civil Engineer. The role involves working closely with other disciplines on various new-build substations, substation upgrades/extensions and other electrical infrastructure, e.g. onshore wind farms and solar farms. Outline requirements: * HND or degree level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering. * Ideally IEng or CEng with membership of relevant professional engineering institution, e.g. ICE, IStructE. * Civil/structural design experience on substation projects * Experience of working within Electrical Transmission and Distribution sectors. * Understanding of CDM requirements. * Understanding of UK Environmental and Waste Management legislation and requirements. * Knowledge of National Grid's Transmission Procedures * Supervise and mentor others…
