We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible Minibus Drivers to join our prestigious client's transport team based at Sandy Park, Brislington.

Role Overview: This rewarding, term-time-only role operates on a split-shift basis, starting at approximately 7:00 am. Drivers will perform essential vehicle safety checks before following a pre-set route to safely collect SEND children and young people from their homes, transporting them to school. Following the morning drop-off, drivers return the vehicle to Sandy Park. In the afternoon, drivers will repeat the route in reverse, ensuring children are safely returned home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough daily vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
  • Ensure the safe boarding and alighting of SEND children and young people.
  • Adhere strictly to scheduled routes and timings.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle at all times.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and compassionate interaction with passengers and parents/carers.

Additional Duties (as required):

  • Transporting other passengers or goods as directed.
  • Acting as a Travel Escort to support fellow drivers in the transportation of SEND children.
  • Assisting with occasional deliveries and other transport-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Full and valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Previous experience driving minibuses or similar vehicles (preferred but not essential).
  • Understanding and patience with SEND children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
