A specialist Engineering company with a great reputation in the industry is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team in Poole. This is a brilliant role for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver who can help with all warehouse duties including driving the forklift. This position is initially starting on a contract basis with the opportunity for a permanent position.
- Handling and movement of stock for dispatch.
- Helping receive goods and parts into the company, checking them against orders and then putting them away in allocated areas.
- Driving the forklift to unload and load goods.
- Picking and checking orders are correct ready for dispatch.
- Securely packing orders for dispatch by road, sea or air.
- Helping the team with stock replenishment.
- Keeping the computer system updated on all stock movements in and out.
Skills / Experience for the Warehouse Operative:
- Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience.
- Any experience working within a manufacturing or engineering company would be advantageous.
- Good experience of driving one of the following forklifts: Bendi, Aisle Master Flexi, Pivot Steer or Reach.
- Have used computer systems to log stock movement.
