About the Role: We're looking for an experienced ICT Field Engineer to join our dynamic team, providing hands-on technical support and guidance to schools across the Essex area. If you thrive on solving challenges, love variety, and enjoy engaging directly with end-users, this role is for you!

As an ICT Field Engineer, you'll:

  • Support schools on-site daily, resolving ICT issues and ensuring seamless operations, building trusted relationships with school staff.
  • Provide remote assistance via our ICT Service Desk when required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Office 365 applications, Google Workspace, and network infrastructure.
  • Participate in ICT projects, including network upgrades and security enhancements.
  • Respond to critical incidents, implementing temporary or permanent solutions for server, switch, and internet failures - or even physical disruptions like floods.

Work-Life Balance: This role is offered on a Full-Time, Part-Time (4 days per week) or Term-Time Only (39 weeks per year) basis. Providing a unique opportunity to balance your professional life with personal commitments - perfect for candidates who value flexibility.

About You: If you can demonstrate the following, we'd love to hear from you:

  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, when delivering a professional level of communication to school accounts we work with.
  • You’ll need to have an attention to detail, taking pride in the quality and accuracy of the work which you produce for our clients.
  • You’ll be a great collaborator, with the ability to work productively and build relationships with internal business users and external vendors.
  • Some prior experience in a similar Finance role supporting clients will be advantageous.
  • Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Our Benefits: This role has an annual salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 (pro-rata if taken on a part-time or term-time only basis).
