An opportunity has arisen to join a successful manufacturing company, based on Flixborough & Foxhills Industrial Estate. Our client is looking for an experienced Production Trainer to join us on our mission of preserving food and the planet by offering high quality, Eco-friendly products and taking advantage of the virtuous recycling loop. This is a Permanent role after successful completion of a 12 week probationary period with the company.
Role and responsibilities:
- Promote learning and development of the team, across different departments
- Delivery of onsite inductions to new starters and contractors
- Support in the development of SOPs across the site by engaging with department leads
- Delivery of all SOPs to all departments
- Continuous review of the quality of training, following up with department leads where required to update training appropriately
- Delivery of bespoke training sessions
- Maintaining and updating systems to ensure the training matrix is audit ready at any given moment
- Conducting regular training audits
- Organise external training courses through local providers and colleges
- Train to be a SAP super user to support with SAP roll out across the business
- Support the quality department in various QA tasks as and when required
Qualifications and skills:
- SAP experience desirable but not essential
- Train the trainer certified
- Strong background in adapting teaching styles to suit the trainee
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong organisational skills, ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively
- Willingness to gain in depth knowledge across all departments in the business to be able to provide continuous support for new starters and existing employees alike
Hours of work: 3 week rotating pattern 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. Weekend overtime as and when required.
Salary: can be discussed at interview, 27K+
