Our Learning & Development Partners are responsible for planning, designing, and delivering practical and blended learning experiences on a wide variety of topics throughout our organisation’s vast departments. Our L&D Partners are expected to scope and create engaging content that allows for the effective evaluation of our learners, to ensure we are providing ample opportunities to our employees on their continuing professional development.
This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours over a Monday to Friday week, based out of CareCo’s Braintree Head Office.
What are my responsibilities?
- Act as a partner to an allocated area of the business to fully understand their operations, practices and learning requirements. Working with them to ensure their learning and development needs are met.
- Project manage a range of operational initiatives that facilitate the delivery of high-quality learning and development activities.
- Scope and analyse the learning needs of the business to enable the effective planning and design of blended learning workshops that engage learners and develop practical skills.
- Develop a wide range of complementary blended learning materials and experiences that enable a culture of continuous learning and practical skill application (including experiential workshops, self-paced online learning, coaching, workbooks, etc.)
- The delivery and facilitation of face-to-face and online learning workshops that promote reflective practice, collaboration, experiential learning and action planning.
- Design and development of engaging and informative eLearning content (including videos, infographics, images, interactions, branching scenarios, etc.)
- Evaluate learning activities by collecting relevant data/information and analyse results for continuous improvement.
- Sourcing, commissioning and collaboration with external specialist suppliers.
- Proactive involvement in a range of communication/marketing activities which drive employee engagement and learning participation.
- Identification and proposal of continuous improvement solutions.
What experience & skills are required of me?
- Ability to apply knowledge of learning theory to create engaging blended learning experiences.
- Confident in analysing, designing/developing & delivering interactive learning interventions face-to-face and virtually.
- Experienced in the use of a range of learning evaluation techniques and able to identify continuous improvement actions.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the training industry and a dedication to providing high-quality and innovative learning solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels and across a range of varied departments.
- Experienced in cost-effective sourcing, coordination & liaison with external learning suppliers.
- Highly organised & able to work at pace - organising and prioritising own workload, whilst coordinating multiple training activities.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Learning & Development or Human Resources Management is desired, but not essential.
- Ideally, experience within a contact centre or customer service company.
- If possible, experience of animated video creation (Vyond) & eLearning instructional design (Articulate Rise & Storyline).
