Teaching Assistant | Newark-on-Trent | £95-£105 | Long-term to perm | Start ASAP Are you an experienced teaching assistant with a background in SEND? LTF Recruitment are currently collaborating with alternative provision based in the Newark-on-Trent area. We are looking for an experienced individual to join a positive working environment where providing care and appropriate teaching assistance for young children is the core goal. Your duties will include: Working alongside the classroom teacher and promote a positive learning environment that is also stimulating for children with SEN needs including ASD and ADHD. Helping prepare and deliver lesson material. Building relationships with children’s parents to ensure ongoing development and make parents aware of the student’s progress. Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material. The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs. A level 3 TA qualifications or equivalent desirable. An enhanced DBS and two references. A positive attitude and willingness to help students succeed.
