Our Client A well-established charity supporting disadvantaged and disabled young people. The Role The Finance Officer will assist with all finance functions across the organisation, collaborating closely with the Finance Manager to ensure comprehensive support in all areas of accounting. Main duties: Manage and maintain the general ledger. Assist in preparing management accounts (prepayments, accruals, depreciations, deferred and accrued income). Oversee the asset register in Xero and depreciation process. Handle cash management and preparing monthly cash flow forecasts and reports. Respond to queries relating to expenses and budget codes. The Successful Candidate Experience working in charity and dealing with charitable income and handling of restricted grants. Proficiency in all areas of accounts- purchase and sales ledger, and basic management accounts. Knowledge of SORP (desirable). Great communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
