Field Service Engineer in Halesowen

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, providing top-notch engineering services on-site with customers. The role involves maintaining and commissioning various packages to meet the highest standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• £17.25 hourly rate
• Overtime paid at half time and double time
• Company flexibility and understanding
• Working hours 8:00am-4:30pm Monday Thursday and finish at 3:30pm on a Friday

The Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

• Carry out planned services and maintenance of company equipment
• Fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues accurately
• Identify specialist equipment and connectors needed for tasks
• Use proper testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance
• Ensure equipment is set up per contract customer specifications
• Modify generator fleet as instructed by the Technical Manager
• Attend equipment breakdowns and be part of the on-call rota system
• Support team development through training and adherence to management systems

The Candidate:

The ideal Field Service Engineer will have:

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Experience in mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel fitting
• Familiarity with electronic systems and mechanical components
• Deep Sea knowledge and synchronising experience
• Excellent IT and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
• Strong customer focus and a confident, professional manner
