Our client is a well established, growing Corporate Finance Boutique which, following a period of heightened activity, is now looking for an entrepreneurial individual to join their team in their Birmingham office.
They are seeking individuals at a newly qualified level, ACA/ACCA, or with some post qualified experience,
who are looking to continue their career within Corporate Finance, maybe coming with some Transaction Services or Deals exposure. You will join a close knit team and play a key role with a variety of different lead advisory transactions, including MBOs, MBIs, acquisitions, disposals, raising finance and general strategic advice. Clients will mainly be UK based but some International assignments too as they are part of a strong International network of similar CF boutiques and investment banks also.
You will get involved in a broad range of work such as producing key commercial analysis and business plans for presentation to financial institutions or acquisitive clients; financial modelling; drawing up information memorandum and pitch presentations; contract negotiations; assisting with business development activities.
The successful candidates will have a strong academic background, be a qualified accountant and strong communication skills are a prerequisite. Prior exposure to lead advisory is not required but you will have ideally trained within a Transaction Services environment, but again not essential as long as you show the right commercial acumen. A good technical knowledge of accounting and keen commercial outlook on business is essential.
