Assistant Management Accountant duties include:
- Processing monthly journals
- Accruals and prepayments
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasting
- Completion of financial returns to legal bodies
- Assisting management with the reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Ad-hoc reporting
The ideal candidate will:
- A good understanding of double entry and basic accounting principles
- Working towards AAT level 4
- Experience in a varied accounting role
- A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work towards deadlines
- IT knowledge including Excel
