Are you ready for a new challenge? IRS Recruitment is currently looking for a Labourer to join our successful client in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear. This is a chance to work in a dynamic environment, where hard work and dedication can lead to further opportunities!
Location: Wallsend, Tyne and Wear
Contract: Long Term - Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate
Shift Pattern: Day shift - Monday-Thursday: 07:00-16:00, Friday: 07:00-15:30 (42-hour week)
Payrate: £14.50 per hour for the first 38 hours, with enhanced rates for overtime
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Site clearance and keeping work areas tidy
- General labouring and yard duties
- Carrying out small painting tasks around the site
- Assisting with various other trades and duties as required including cleaning of offices and toilets
What our client is looking for:
- Strong focus on Health, Safety, and Hygiene
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and perform under pressure
- Experience in a heavy engineering environment (preferred but not essential)
- A Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
- Good physical fitness, reliability, and a conscientious work ethic
