Irwin and Colton have been engaged to recruit a Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Systems Manager for a leading waste and recycling organisation. This role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance SHEQ standards across multiple sites in London, playing a key role in a growing organisation with ambitious expansion plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits across multiple sites to ensure compliance with UK legislation and the company's global strategy
- Travelling across London to visit multiple sites, balancing on-site presence with remote working for reporting and system development
- Managing high-level administrative tasks, including reporting, compliance documentation, and policy updates
- Working closely with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Compliance Director
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the waste industry or similar industrial environments
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
- At least NEBOSH General certification or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage workload and priorities independently
