Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Center AI Consultant with Nvidia tech to oversee the build-out of 100 racks within a new Data Center with Nvidia technology. Ensuring the effective deployment of cooling systems, infrastructure, and overall physical aspects of the data center. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all AI-related infrastructure, including Nvidia DGX systems, InfiniBand networking, and DDN storage, is implemented efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the deployment of 100 Nvidia racks within the data center environment.
- Supervise and provide expertise on cooling systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Manage and oversee the physical aspects of the data center, ensuring all hardware installations align with best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless deployment process.
- Conduct regular site visits (once per month to Italy) to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide hands-on oversight.
- Ensure that all AI infrastructure components, including Nvidia DGX, InfiniBand, and DDN storage solutions, are properly integrated and operational.
- Maintain compliance with industry best practices and security standards.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in AI-driven data center environments.
- Expertise in Nvidia DGX systems and AI hardware deployment.
- Strong knowledge of InfiniBand networking and its application in high-performance computing.
- Experience with DDN storage solutions and their integration within large-scale data centers.
- Solid understanding of cooling systems and data center infrastructure management.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (additional Italian a plus).
- Ability to travel to Italy once a month (expenses covered).
