Sea Global are proud to be partnering with one of the UK’s leading housing associations, who work across the UK to provide value and cost savings within procurement. We have helped build out their procurement team over the past couple of years, with everyone we have placed still there and really enjoying it. Due to the business continuing to grow they are now looking to add another Procurement professional to the team.

The procurement function is well established and grounded within the business. They have lots of opportunities for progression and want someone who wants to come in and really grow and develop within the team and business.

Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will work in a team who are a close-knit bunch and are really collaborative in their approach. They are looking for someone who is hardworking and wants to grow and develop their procurement skills.

The role is initially on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract with the view to go permanent after this.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage projects including supporting delivery of any new frameworks, and support the Senior Procurement Manager with new contracts and managing all the day-to-day DPS.
  • Supporting the use of the e-sourcing portal and support cases for new contracts.
  • General procurement responsibilities including supporting with tendering and contract management.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal colleagues and external clients.

Experience & Requirements

  • A background in Procurement or similar roles.
  • Has knowledge relating to DPS, e-procurement platforms and frameworks.
  • Experience working within the public sector or within public sector regulations.
  • Strong work ethic and can manage multiple priorities at once.
