Our client is seeking a highly motivated HR Specialist to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about HR systems, data analysis, and process improvement.
Initially based full-time at their Windsor office (for the first 3 months), the role offers hybrid flexibility thereafter.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR projects and systems, particularly Workday, and a flair for data. You’ll spend the majority of your time driving forward key HR initiatives, with 1 day per week dedicated to HRIS support. You will act as the subject matter expert on Workday, providing support to HR users, generating insightful reports, and ensuring data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of data in the Workday HRIS
- Support HR with changes to employment contracts and ensure relevant teams are updated
- Troubleshoot database issues within Workday
- Track and report on employee annual leave balances
- Support onboarding processes: coordinate inductions and deliver HR presentations
- Maintain and distribute Starters & Leavers reports
- Produce monthly volunteering/social value reports for senior HR leadership
- Assist with LinkedIn Learning platform management, reporting, and employee training assignments
- Improve and maintain HR documents, templates, and presentations
- Provide general HR administrative support and team cover as needed
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong Workday HRIS experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or HRIS, including data management and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and a passion for people analytics
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and professional presentation standards
