Your Role, Your Impact
As a HR Data & Insight Analyst, you’ll play an integral part of the FirstPort HR team, supporting the delivery of an efficient and effective service to the business, by providing timely HR data and analytics. You will enjoy translating data and insights into a compelling story that helps the business make data informed decisions. You will have a keen interest in exploring the detail, identifying anomalies, uncovering unexpected insights and helping the business see things from a different perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production, development and continuous improvement of automated reports and dashboards to present HR data and insight in a meaningful way.
- Gathering and integrating data from various sources, such as HR systems, employee surveys and performance metrics and the production of various types of reports and presentations.
- Analysing HR data to provide insight and identify trends and patterns to support and guide decision making, translating data insight into actionable recommendations that help the HR team and wider business stakeholders implement strategies to improve workforce outcomes.
- Use historical data to predict future trends and outcomes.
- Ensuring data integrity within reporting processes and conducting data quality checks, identifying opportunities for improvement to data accuracy.
- Providing support, guidance and clarification to the wider HR team on data-related escalations, recognised as the subject matter expert on data, insights and trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Highly analytical and numerical with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Fully proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office, with experience of using reporting tools, such as Power BI.
- Proven ability to translate data into clear insights for a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience of working with HR systems (iTrent advantageous) and an understanding of HR processes and metrics (e.g. turnover, engagement, diversity).
