About the Role:

This full-time, office-based Paralegal role position offers exposure to complex and engaging legal work from day one. You will assist lawyers in preparing cases, conducting legal research, managing documentation, and liaising with clients, experts, and legal professionals. There is also tangible scope for career progression as the firm is supportive of Paralegals qualifying via the SQE.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Case management
  • Building strong relationships with clients, experts and counsel
  • Conducting in-depth legal research
  • Preparing case documents and assisting with regulatory interviews
  • Engaging in business development, including contributing to legal publications and networking

About you:

The ideal Business Crime Paralegal will have:

  • Six months plus of Criminal or Regulatory experience
  • A good working knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations (MLRs), criminal financing, and bribery and corruption legislation.
  • Experience preparing interviews under caution and/or regulatory interviews.
  • A police station accreditation would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
