Job Overview: As a Sage 200 Consultant focusing on financials and commercials, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Sage 200 system. Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their financial processes, analyse their commercial requirements, and provide effective solutions that enhance their operational performance. You will leverage your expertise in Sage 200’s financial modules to deliver high-quality outcomes and ensure client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation of Sage 200 financial and commercial modules, ensuring proper configuration to meet client requirements. Manage data migration from legacy systems to Sage 200, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to gather and analyse their financial processes and commercial operations, translating their needs into actionable solutions. System Customization: Customise Sage 200 functionalities to align with client-specific financial workflows, including invoicing, purchasing, budgeting, and forecasting. Training & Support: Conduct training sessions for clients and end-users on Sage 200 financial and commercial functionalities, ensuring effective usage of the system. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance, addressing any issues related to financial processes or software performance. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, user guides, and training materials for financial and commercial modules. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial and commercial processes. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about Sage 200 updates, industry trends, and best practices in financial management to continuously improve service offerings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Sage 200 Consultant or similar role with a focus on financial and commercial modules. In-depth knowledge of Sage 200 financial functionalities, including ledgers, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Experience in managing financial data migration and integration projects. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable. Skills: Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge within the Sage 200 environment.
