Job description Package: Sub Contract: Price per square metre Education & Experience: CSCS Blue skilled worker card NVQ Level 2/3 in Insulation and building treatments for Internal wall and Room in roof ACOPs qualified The Role: We are looking for IWI and Room In Roof Insulators with Level 2/3 NVQ in Insulation and Building Treatments that are also required to help with ventilation such as trickle vents, airbox vents. The role includes but is not limited to: Understand retrofit plans and liaise with coordinators at the start of every project to better understand the insulation needs for the specific building in line with the customer journey. Install insulation measures to specifications of system designers and/or product manufacturers. Measure and cut insulation before any installation. Prepare surfaces for the installation of insulation by applying adhesives, metal pins, asphalt or cement if required. Follow correct Health & Safety procedures when removing old insulation that may include asbestos. Drill core holes to make way for extractor fans (electricians to wire up). Required skills: Extensive Knowledge of insulation materials Ability to follow instructions/blueprints/survey forms Excellent time management skills Strong verbal communication Ability to perform repetitive movements & work in confined spaces Strong decision-making skills Able to endure both hot and cold weather Knowledge of PAS 2030 and PAS 2035 standards Desirable: Previous experience in ECO Industry Damp Proofing (DPC) knowledge and/or qualification Job Type:Employed / Sub contractor INDKATY Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract Pay: £300.00-£600.00 per day Schedule: Monday to Friday Application question(s): Do you have NVQ level 2 in Insulation and Building Treatments?
