About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive team at a Primary School in Chester. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and committed to supporting their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
- Support individual pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of classroom activities and resources.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- Experience working in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate (desirable).
