Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a Control Systems Solutions Provider that drive innovation and diversity whilst being pioneers of control system and environment solutions. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team. Their ideal candidate will have considerable experience and a strong knowledge of control systems and automated systems. Due to providing on-site testing and commissioning for clients, the role will require a full, clean UK Driving Licence.
In return, they are offering a day rate of up to £500 per day depending on experience. This contract will roll on for an initial period of 3-6 months, with an opportunity for the role to go permanent for the right person. Umbrella or PAYE options available.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design HMI interface screens
- Program, implement and design PLC controllers, including Siemens, Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley
- Develop and implement SCADA systems in house and on customer sites
- Prepare documents ready for clients and Engineers
- Travel on-site to perform full scale commissioning and testing of control systems
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering best practices, and industry regulations
- Liaise with clients, team members, and management at multiple levels
- Provide end user training to a wide range of customers
Skills & Experience:
- Strong technical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and automated systems
- Demonstrable Engineering experience including instilling best practices and following industry regulations
- Proven experience in programming, designing and implementing PLCs, SCADA systems and HMIs
- Considerable experience working with control systems in an industrial environment
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbally, including being able to communicate with clients, team members, and management at all levels
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
