A key role in the Liberty IT Talent and Communications team, the Talent Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that Liberty IT maintains the highest standards of operational competence and compliance while delivering and ensuring a great experience for our people.
Experience and skills we need:
- A minimum of 5 years of recent, relevant senior leadership experience in Human Resources.
- Proven leadership skills and competence in managing people and organisational processes.
- Knowledge and experience in applying UK and ROI employment legislation.
- Demonstrable experience in salary and benefits management.
- Experience managing large-scale, organisation-wide projects.

What you'll be doing:
As a key leader within the Talent team, you will initiate and lead across the following areas:
- Talent operations
- Design and implement the Talent Operations strategy and priorities that align with our strategic goals.
- Maintain company policies and procedures that are legally compliant and reflect our culture and values.
- Ensure data integrity within the Liberty IT HR Information Systems to produce high-quality reports and information.
- Facilitate the accurate and efficient delivery of HR services throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Cultivate relevant external partnerships and build strong relationships within Liberty internationally, contributing to the development of Liberty Mutual by supporting national and international projects when appropriate.
- Lead the annual salary and bonus review process for two jurisdictions, including conducting salary benchmarking surveys, proposing and securing salary review budgets from the parent company, and collaborating with International Compensation and Benefits colleagues on principles for localised pay awards.
- Inform leaders about compensation positioning and assist them in making informed compensation decisions.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of Fair Employment Returns, Gender Pay Gap Reports, and global organisational surveys.
- Oversee the correct handling and storage of all employee-related records, ensuring compliance with data privacy and retention regulations.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Permits Act (2003-2014), the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act (2006), and the Immigration Acts (1971 and 2016).
- Employee Experience and Relations
- Manage and oversee all employee relations within Liberty IT to ensure fair, compliant, and consistent treatment in alignment with our core business values.
- Communicate with senior leadership regarding employee relations cases and action plans for resolution.
- Collaborate with third-party experts to proactively review and update processes and practices.
- Stay informed about legislative changes in Ireland and the UK to ensure Liberty IT processes remain compliant with local laws.
- Maintain company policies and procedures that are legally compliant and aligned with our culture and values.
- Lead Liberty IT's listening strategy, utilising employee sentiment data to identify opportunities for enhancing the employee experience in partnership with the Liberty IT organisation.
- Oversee the implementation of the Great Place to Work survey and other parent company employee experience surveys, producing reports and key analyses for senior leadership.
- Act as an employee champion within the organisation, staying connected with employees and working to enhance their daily experiences.
- When necessary, design plans and actively participate in restructuring initiatives, including redundancies, TUPE, and managed terminations, to ensure compliance and appropriateness.
- Approach people management and leadership situations with legal, ethical, and moral considerations.

- Lead the Talent Support team by fostering an inclusive, coaching culture that drives high performance.
- Perform line management duties for the team, including one-to-one meetings and operational management responsibilities.
- Manage team priorities to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Proactively manage continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
- Design, propose, and deliver key organisational improvement projects.
- Continuously review existing Talent Operations processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
