Happy Jobs NI are delighted to be representing our client on the appointment of a Part-Time Bookkeeper and Credit Administrator. Our client based in East Belfast operates two successful brands: Lets Letterbox and Burbridge Ducann Letting Agency. Due to continued success, they are looking to recruit a part-time finance professional to join their expanding team.
About Our Client
- Lets Letterbox: A one-stop destination for virtual office solutions, company registrations, comprehensive landlord services, and efficient mail handling. They provide essential and unique services for businesses across Northern Ireland and further afield.
- Burbridge Ducann: An independent estate agency located in the heart of East Belfast, specialising in selling and renting exquisite properties, offering a personalised service that consistently delivers outstanding results.
We envisage a flexible part-time opportunity, 4 hours per day, 3 days a week for Lets Letterbox and 2 days for Burbridge Ducann, giving a total of 20 hours per week. However, we are happy to discuss suitable working hours and flexibility with any candidates that meet the minimum criteria for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lets Letterbox: Ensure prompt payment from subscription clients, maintain and oversee new customer account opening procedures, review and update account update letters (Stage 1, 2, and 3), validate customer registration through Companies House and internet resources, collaborate closely with the LLB team to manage overdue accounts and on-stop accounts, contribute to projects assigned by the Head of Accounting, fulfill any other tasks or ad-hoc duties as required by your line manager.
- Burbridge Ducann: Manage Contractor Invoices efficiently, allocate payment schedules accurately, maintain CRM software records, keep spreadsheets up-to-date, support projects led by the Head of Accounting, handle other tasks and ad-hoc duties as directed by your line manager.
Required Skills
- Strong organisational and written/verbal communication skills, with a background in a booking or accounts office.
- Proficiency in CRM software and ideally a working knowledge of PayPal Business.
- Experience and comfort using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- A deep understanding of the Finance Department's functions and how they interconnect with other departments.
- Ability to establish relationships and procedures with customers.
This role may be suitable if you’ve previously worked as a Credit Control Administrator, Bookkeeper, Accounting Coordinator, Accounts Assistant, Financial Administrator, Credit and Accounts Specialist, or as a Finance Assistant.

Salary: Approximately £14.00 per hour (negotiable dependent on experience)
