Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Preparation of several operational reports specifically around stock and margin analysis.

Process supplier invoices and reconcile to supplier statements.

Process month end journals.
-
Reconcile monthly VAT return.

Balance sheet reconciliations.
-
Use an online software system for processing employee expenses.
-
Reconcile credit card statements and transactions.
-
Ensure regular back up of accounting records.
-
Assist with the preparation of stocktakes.
-
Assist with the preparation of year end audit requirements.
-
Adhoc duties as and when required.
-
AAT early stages CIMA/ACCA Level.
-
Broad accounting exposure.
-
Strong Excel skills.
-
Fast Paced entrepreneurial organisation., * AAT or early stages of CIMA/ACCA qualification.

Numeracy and attention to detail are essential.
-
Good knowledge of Excel, able to build spreadsheet models as needed.

A responsible and professional approach to the role.

Good interpersonal skills and telephone manner essential.
