We are looking for a dedicated Plastic Setter with experience in injection moulding to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. If you have hands-on expertise in mould changes, material handling, and an understanding of robotic systems, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview:
- Position: Plastic Setter
- Location: Northampton
- Industry: Injection Moulding
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience £35,000-£40,000
- Shifts: Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and change plastic moulds for injection moulding machines.
- Hang and load materials into the machines, ensuring smooth operations.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and carry out adjustments as needed.
- Work with robotics to assist with automation processes (experience with robotics is a plus).
- Ensure production processes are running efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure safe and effective machine operation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in plastic injection moulding, particularly in setting and mould changes.
- A few years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of material handling and processes in injection moulding.
