We are recruiting for experienced labourers. Working in partnership with several well-known industrial and timber companies in Hull. We are recruiting reliable, hardworking Labourers. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, good pay from £11.44 - £15.00 and opportunities for overtime paid at premium rates.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Working as a labourer we have various shifts available, days and lates:

  • Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm
  • OR Monday to Friday 12 noon - 10pm

Start date / Duration

The Labourer role is a Temp to Perm contract that will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that.

Job description

As a Labourer you will be responsible for household waste or general timber labour in Hull. Your duties will include:

  • Labourers are responsible for carrying out work that is often physically demanding.
  • You must adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.
  • Lifting and loading.
  • Moving stock around.
  • General housekeeping duties.
  • Cleaning household waste.
  • Using machinery.

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Labourer you MUST:

  • Previous experience working as a labourer is ideal but is not essential.
  • It would be advantageous (but not essential) if you have any of the following licenses/certificates; CSCS, CCNSG, NEBOSH or equivalent safety certificate/passport.
  • Reliable with good timekeeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
