Our client is currently looking for a copy typist on a temporary basis to cover sick leave approximately 3 months. Working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. You would be working for a small firm of solicitors based in Bedford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately type legal documents, including Wills, Probate forms, and correspondence as dictated by solicitors.
- Transcribe hand-written notes into clear and accurate documents.
- Organize and maintain files and records related to Wills and Probate matters.
- Assist with general administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, and filing.
- Ensure all documents are correctly formatted and comply with legal standards.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with data protection laws.
- Provide support to solicitors and other team members when required.
Desirable Attributes:
- Previous experience working in a legal or administrative environment is beneficial but not required.
