We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our Clients’ leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of production activities on two production lines in the plant. The key task of this role is to ensure the efficiency of production processes, high quality products, work safety and the implementation of production plans within the established budget. Responsibilities
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations and rules. Understanding and complying with all company standards of food quality and safety assurance and taking immediate action in case of irregularities in the course of processes.
  • Organize and coordinate daily operations on production lines to meet production goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures, production standards, and safety regulations.
  • Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
  • Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Initiate and supervise activities related to automation and the modernization of production lines.
  • Lead the production team, including Line Managers to ensure seamless operations and high team morale.
  • Plan and organize training, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance, and current production challenges.
  • Develop production plans in collaboration with the supply chain department, considering available resources and customer orders.
  • Work closely with the maintenance department to schedule downtimes and equipment servicing.
  • Prepare reports on production performance, efficiency metrics, costs, and quality standards.
  • Analyze production risks and develop preventative measures.
  • Understand and commit to “act like an owner” to take action to achieve overall success of the entire enterprise.
  • Engage in Courageous Conversations for improvement of the organization.
  • Oversees & participates in assessments to define, analyze and control quality issues that may arise.
Experience
  • 3-7 years in a management role, with demonstrated excellence in management & organizational duties.
  • Understanding of safety requirements.
  • Ability to lead, supervise and motivate team.
  • Understanding of Statistics and application toward problem solving, process capability, on line control and interpretation of data.
  • Ability to present to various levels within the organization with clarity and direction.
  • Must have ability to influence change through effective communication and direction.
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
  • Computer Skills within the MS family and internet capable.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Encourage a win/win team environment where everyone is heard equally.
  • Interact with Operations teams.
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning and prioritization.
